Elegant. Artfully made. Graceful. Precise.
Until you ascend in power, you are under the following rulings:
Edict 1: All speak in a Princess's tongue: well-mannered, prim, and composed.
Edict 2: All speak from a Princess's perspective: aloof and limited to one's thoughts/impressions (in-universe or otherwise)
Edict 3: All Princesses are unique and should be feared as equally divinely ordained.
As you consider the edicts that bind you, a maid pours tea for you and the other seated princesses.
She whispers in your ear conspiratorially.
"As you know, Your Highness, we may be overheard by powers beyond our understanding and across the Veils. In case they are eavesdropping now, I am bound to state the following:"
"Per edict 1: Negotiations about play duration, breaks, and out of character discussion must be discussed in character. Vividly hallucinate yourself as wearing a heavy dress and the weight of kingdoms on your shoulders. Someone unable to play for more than a few hours might be communicated as "I have a prior arrangement at this afternoon's 5th clock strike, and must beseech haste on all our behalves."
"Per edict 2: When discussing the world, you may declare what you see, hear, taste, feel, smell, or do - but not what happens objectively. You may declare you hear a maid telling you this instruction, but you have not the authority to declare it so. Princesses should come to an agreement on what is truth. Do keep in mind, it is difficult to manage a narrative when there is not regular consensus and at least a bit of conflict."
"Per edict 3: Princesses all have different styles, have mastered different magicks, rule different kingdoms, and should have additional traits/quirks/wiles that differentiate them. On the other hand they are each just one woman with minimal durability or strength unless indicated."
"Now to you, my Lady, if you have in mind a quest for your gathering to partake in, please voice it to yon group. Else, may your humble servant suggest some options:"
Inspired by the gender envy I felt reading a Twine example about wearing a heavy dress adored in baubles for the ball "I" was to attend.
